Biography:

Steven Lang is a writer and artist from St. Paul, Minnesota. His debut novel, The Art of Falling Apart, was published in 2026 by Flexible Press. His short stories are included in the anthologies Fiction on a Stick, published by Milkweed Editions, The Art of Wonder, published by the University of Minnesota Press, and in various literary journals such as Prime Number Magazine, Stonecoast Review, Cutbank, Catamaran Literary Reader, and Chestnut Review. His photography has been featured in Romka Magazine, Into the Void, Midwestern Gothic, Der Greif, Minnesota Monthly, and other print and online publications. He is the recipient of Loft Mentor Award from the Loft Literary Center, a Next Step Fund award from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, and a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. He currently lives in Lauderdale, Minnesota.
