  Lauderdale and Whittier in France? What’s next, Diet Coke? But seriously, I’m excited to have had my work chosen to be featured on the French photography blog La Lettre de la Photographie.

  I headed to my homeland, Dakota County, for the final “My Lonely Condition” shots. I came up with a few for the project, and a few others as well. In my opinion, Dakota County is a photographer’s dream. It’s like North Dakota crossed with Milwaukee. (Even the name itself is, kind of. )

  I took a day trip west to Willmar, Minnesota the other day. It’s a great town to do photography, but is also rife with potential photographic cliches.   Here’s another shot from my series-in-progress, My Lonely Condition. This is a Kwik Trip station in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. They have “Top Tier” gasoline there (or so I hear).

  I’ve been following this car around my neighborhood for a year. It finally parked right where I wanted it.

  I now specialize in pictures of cats on couches when taking care of said cats when owners of said cats are out of town. I will specialize in this for exactly one more day.
